Make a Donation

Much of Gateway into the Community’s work with people who have a learning disability in West Northumberland is highly dependent on the funds we are able to raise. We do our best to gain as much funding as possible through members’ contributions and their own fundraising, as well as by applications to numerous trusts and foundations. Much as this helps our cause, we are aware of the still unmet needs of many people with learning disabilities in West Northumberland, particularly those living in the more rural areas.

We have always had a commitment to supporting people to be part of their local community and we would like to be in a position to increase the opportunities we offer. To do this we need to increase the money that comes into Gateway into the Community. If you are interested in helping us you can, by making a donation.

Set up a Standing Order

A regular donation by standing order is one of the most effective ways to support our services. If you would like to help us in this way, simply download and complete the donation form and return it to:

Gabby Keaveny, Administrator, Gateway into the Community, Hexham Community Centre, Gilesgate, Hexham, NE46 3NP

A standing order is easy to set up and it allows you flexibility of changing or cancelling your donation at any time. You can increase your gift through Gift Aid if you pay UK income tax (or capital gains tax). Please remember to complete the Gift Aid Declaration form included in the donation form, so that Gateway into the Community can claim an extra 25p from HMRC for every £1 you donate.

Alternatively, some of our supporters have chosen to use Localgiving or payroll giving to make regular contributions to our work. By choosing to give regularly you will enable us to receive a reliable source of income so we can plan our services more effectively and save on administration costs. We are very grateful for this support, which makes a big difference to the opportunities we are able to provide for people with learning disabilities in West Northumberland.
